A little bit about the Dutch Tart

I don’t think people actually READ this page, but eh. I still decided to put it up.

My name is Nikita, I’m 21 years old and I am from the Netherlands. I am an Atheist, but I honestly couldn’t care less about other peoples religion, as long as they don’t shove it down my throat and as long as they are open for discussion and understand why I am NOT religious. I don’t care about peoples sexual preference, music taste, race or anything for that matter. I like you or I don’t like you, that’s that. I can be considered socially awkward, even though I’m a social person. It sounds odd and it is. Oh, and occasionally I fall in love with fictional characters, which is no big deal, right?

I’m a gamer, a reader, I listen to a lot of music and I watch a lot of movies and tv-series. 

My music taste is odd, I love to listen to country and bluegrass, but I won’t shy away from some good metal or Industrial Hardcore. I love classic rock songs, but I absolutely hate the music that’s currently ‘hot’. I dislike popmusic, but I’m in love with soundtracks. I could listen to soundtracks all day.

I read a lot of fantasy books, but also thrillers, horror and a lot of books about war. My favorite writers are: George R.R. Martin, J.R.R. Tolkien, John Grisham, J.K. Rowling, David Baldacci and James Patterson.

I rarely watch tv, I always watch my series and movies on my laptop. I’m currently watching: Game of Thrones, Supernatural, Grimm, Sherlock and I love Band of Brothers, Prison Break, The Walking Dead and a lot more.

I have a very random taste in movies, but Disney classics are the ones I love most (a few exceptions, maybe). Again, I love fantasy, thrillers, horror and war movies. I have a soft spot for stuff that I consider as childhood memories. 

I am currently playing: Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Skyrim, Red Dead Redemption, Call of Duty, Pokemon and a fuckload of other games.

I have lots of tattoos and piercings, I love caffeine, alcohol and my cigarettes. Food is amazing, especially bacon. I am friendly to people who deserve it, but I can be a complete and utter dick to people who don’t. I don’t pretend, if I don’t like you, you’ll know. Sarcasm is my number one weapon and my sense of humor can be called twisted sometimes. I lack a lot of morals, which doesn’t make me a bad person, it just makes me different. People always seem to judge me for it, but tough shit for them. It’s who I am and I don’t expect anyone to understand how I roll.

Having fun, doing random bullshit and making fun of things is how I spend my day, together with going to retail school, being on the internet, reading and so on. In September I will start a course and I aspire to be an English teacher in about four years.

I love animals, I have a truckload of them myself. I have dogs, cats, bearded dragons, a snake and a few rats (who aren’t meant to be fed to my snake, by the way).
